       Most of my lamps start off as mundane household/workplace objects some are car battery chargers others are electronic cases, The Yamaha RS 125 Oil Tank from 1975, we  machined up a lot of  aluminium/stainless steel parts for this lamp in our machine shop, most of the metal and wood we use is recycled from other things, the metal is usually ends of bars, wood comes from broken tables etc.   
 
All our lamps are fully earthed and tested and come with full instructions for cleaning and bulb changing 
All electrical components are new and certified  (EN60598).  tested and certified in line with electrical safety standards BS EN 60598.
